Larceny from Auto

Dearborn, Mi.   —   On October 7, 2015 at 5:39am the Dearborn Police responded to the area of Donald and Horger streets on a report of two suspicious males hiding near vehicles.  Responding officers found several vehicles which had been illegally entered. While investigating the officers apprehended 17 year old, Ali Maged Hadrian-Zaiou.   Hadrian-Zaiou, a resident of the city of Dearborn, was in possession of numerous items that had been stolen from several vehicles in the area.  In these incidents Hadrian-Zaiour entered unlocked vehicles and stole anything of value. The police identified a second individual who they believe was working in concert with Hadrian-Zaiour in committing the larcenies. The second individual’s role is still under investigation.  This suspect was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

Dearborn has had a rash of larcenies recently involving the same methods of operation. Hadrian-Zaiour and the other male suspect are believed to be responsible for other similar thefts in the area.  The investigation is continuing.

Ali Maged Hadrian-Zaiour was arraigned before the Honorable Mark Somers in the 19th District Court to appear for a pre-trial on December 12, 2015 at 1:00pm for charges.

Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad stated:  “this arrest is the result of a vigilant citizen who alerted officers to a crime in progress.  This quick action, coupled with the great work by our Patrol Officers and Detectives resulted in the arrest of two individuals who are likely responsible for dozens of crimes in our community.”
