(Harris County, TX)-Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have arrested and charged two suspects and charged a third suspect in the fatal robbery of 28 year old Michael Aldana , on Sunday, April 5, 2015, in north Harris County.

Investigators say that an off duty Harris County Precinct 4 deputy was driving in the 900 block of Spring Cypress road , when he was flagged down by a citizen who informed him of an abandoned vehicle in the road way.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy observed Aldana lying along the side of his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Medical personnel were called and he was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.

HCSO Homicide deputies obtained evidence during their investigation to link all three suspects to the murder Mr. Aldana.

Eric Guzman (DOB 07/17/94) capital murder and aggravated robbery -deadly weapon.

Jamal Ferguson (DOB 06/18/95) capital murder and aggravated robbery-deadly weapon.

Russell Gregory (DOB 06/29/93) capital murder and aggravated robbery –deadly weapon.

Defendants Guzman and Ferguson are in custody, suspect Gregory is currently on bond for an unrelated charge.
