The Berkeley Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1600 block of Russell Street.
We are currently searching for a possibly armed suspect with the assistance of a K9 officer. Please avoid the 1600 blocks of Russell and Julia Streets. Residents please remain inside and report any suspicious activity by dialing 911.
