HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – October 6, 2015 – The Hollister Police Department has made an arrest as a result of an investigation into the bomb threats at Marguerite Maze Middle School.
On Wednesday September 23, 2015, several threats of a bomb exploding at Marguerite Maze School were located written in different locations on campus. Hollister Police personnel and school staff conducted extensive searches of the campus to insure the safety of the students. Additional security was also called in for the reminder of the week.
School Resource Officer Michael Paddy immediately began an investigation into the incident. After interviewing several students and parents and with the assistance of school staff, Officer Paddy was able to arrest a 12 year old suspect. The minor was released to a parent with a citation for making a false bomb threat.
"We take all threats seriously, and will always take immediate action to ensure the safety of our students and staff. The District thanks all members of our community who assisted in the investigation that solved this crime," said Hollister School District Superintendent Gary McIntire.
The Hollister Police Department would also like to thank the Hollister School District, the staff at Marguerite Maze Middle School and parents and students for their cooperation in this investigation. Together as partners, Officer Paddy was able to resolve this case in a relatively quick time.

HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – October 6, 2015 – El Departamento de Policía de Hollister ha hecho un arresto como resultado de una investigación sobre las amenazas de bomba en Marguerite Maze Middle School.
El Miércoles 23 Septiembre de 2015, varias amenazas que una bomba se iba estallar se localizaron escritos en diferentes lugares en la escuela. Policias de Hollister y personal de la escuela realizaron una búsqueda extensa de la escuela para asegurar la seguridad de los estudiantes. Guardias de seguridad adicional también fue llamada para el resto de la semana.
Oficial de Recursos Escolares Michael Paddy inició inmediatamente una investigación sobre el incidente. Después de entrevistar a varios estudiantes y padres de familia y con la asistencia del personal de la escuela, Oficial Paddy fue capaz de arrestar a un joven sospechoso de 12 años. El menor fue puesto en libertad con su padre pero tendrá una cita para responder por cargos de hacer una amenaza de bomba falsa.
"Tomamos todas las amenazas en serio, y siempre tomaremos medidas inmediatas para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y personal.
