On October 2, 2015, at approximately 1:58 A.M., the Turlock Police Department responded to a residence located in the 200 block of S. Beech Avenue for a shooting that had just occurred. While on their way to the location, officers received information that the suspects had fled in a white van. Officers located the van in the area of Canal Road and First Street and initiated a traffic stop, however, the van did not stop and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit reached speeds of over 40 MPH, through residential areas, until it came to a stop in the 1000 block of Geer Road. Four subjects fled from the vehicle, two of which were located nearby and taken in to custody (both male, 17 years old).

Based on the evidence recovered at the scene of the shooting and in the van, officers determined that the two juveniles had been involved in the shooting. Both juveniles were booked in Juvenile Hall for Robbery and discharging a firearm.

The victim was not injured during this incident.
