Tracking Hurricane Joaquin. Residents should take the time to ensure they are prepared in the event of landfall in NJ
National Weather Service has issued a hurricane watch which could possibly impact NJ late Sunday or early Monday. A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions. Residents should begin to prepare in the event we are affected by this storm.
We recommend that residents ensure................
All generators are in good working order
Gas cans are filled and ready in the event of a power outage
Flashlights or lanterns are all working order with extra batteries on hand.
Bottled water and non-perishable food is available
Vehicles should be topped off with fuel.
Cell phones are charged and car chargers working in case of power loss.
Make sure all prescriptions are filled.
The best plan is to plan ahead. Please take the time to ensure that we are prepared.
We will keep everyone updated as we get updated weather alerts.
