Burglary Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Etowah County man was arrested and charged in connection to a recent burglary in Etowah County, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“William Ladell Calhoun, 26, of Gadsden, was arrested and is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Jeremy Lasseter said.
He allegedly broke into a residence on Posey Road and stole several pieces of jewelry and collectible coins valued at more than $2,000. The items were not recovered.
Calhoun was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on and later released on $5,000 bond.
