A Coastal Flood Warning is now in effect for Moderate to Major Tidal Flooding through Friday morning......High tide in the back bay areas will occur early this afternoon....A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect from Friday morning forward......this will likely be upgraded to a warning based on the potential for Joaquin to affect our area.

THOSE WHO LIVE IN LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE AREAS NEED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTIONS TO MOVE VEHICLES TO HIGHER GROUND AND PROTECT PROPERTY. DO NOT WALK OR DRIVE INTO FLOODWATERS. TURN AROUND DON'T DROWN.
