INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation

LOCATION: 10000 block of 6th Street, Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM: Kevin Hall, age 46, a resident of Adelanto

SUSPECT: Andre Taylor, age 46, a resident of San Bernardino

SUMMARY:
UPDATE: October 1, 2015/4:00 a.m.
Through investigation, Andre Taylor was identified as the person responsible for shooting the victim, Kevin Hall. On Wednesday, September 30th, at approximately 10:50 pm., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Specialized Enforcement Division (SED) located and arrested Taylor without incident. The arrest occurred at a motel near 4th Street and Baker Avenue in the city of Ontario. Taylor was booked for PC 187 – Murder at West Valley Detention Center and is being held on $1,000,000.00 bail.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at approximately 10:41 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 10000 block of 6th Street in Rancho Cucamonga following the report of shots heard. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Deputies were informed that the victim along with several members of a local motorcycle club were at the location attending a memorial service for a fellow member when the shooting occurred.

Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the location and are currently conducting the investigation. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available for release at this time.
