Update on Officer Scherlen's condition.

Update on Officer Scherlen’s condition.

Officer Scherlen has been moved from ICU, but still remains hospitalized. He will remain in the hospital for several more days/weeks while he continues to undergo very intensive Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. Once he has made enough progress in re-conditioning his body to normal body functions, like walking, then getting in and out of a wheel chair by himself, he will be allowed to return home. He will still require lots of rehab; however he has made great progress. The surgery to repair the broken bones in his arm and his legs were successful and his body is healing from those traumatic injuries. Justin has had surgery on his hip and his knee and those were also successful however the recovery of those injuries will take considerable more time and rehab to recover from.

Please join us in our continued prayers for Officer Scherlen, his wife, their 4 small children and all their families. They all would like their husband, father, son and brother to come home soon.
