Newhall: Zone 6, Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 09/21 /15 to 09/27/15.
The following crimes are currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives:
An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 23600 block of Meadowridge Dr., Newhall. Three suspects approached the victim while sitting in his vehicle and asked if he was affiliated with any gangs. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim, and then fled on foot with the other two suspects.
A residential burglary occurred near the 24400 block of Valle Del Oro, Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s garage through an unlocked side door and stole items.
A residential burglary occurred near the 21300 block of Alder Dr., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s residence through the front door and stole items.
A residential burglary occurred near the 24600 block of Newhall Ave., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s detached garage through the rear door and stole items.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 25835 block of Railroad Ave., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown shattered the victim’s driver’s side window and stole items.
A petty theft occurred near the 25000 block of Walnut St., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s unsecured bicycle from the bicycle rack.
A grand theft occurred near the 21300 block of Bottletree Ln., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle while parked at the location.
A grand theft occurred near the 24300 block of Sweet Shade Ln., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle. The vehicle was located in LAPD’s West Valley Division area.
A grand theft occurred near the 24600 block of Wiley Cyn. Rd., Newhall. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle while parked at the location.
