Pink Hat Project 
The River Vale Police Department will be joining the Park Ridge Police Department and other local agencies in the Pink Hat Project. The Pink Hat project was started in 2012 by Park Ridge Police Department Lt. Nicholas Errico as a tribute to his wife whom is a breast cancer survivor. For the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) participating agencies will wear pink caps to raise awareness and to show support in the fight against cancer.
The public can join us in the fight and show their support by purchasing a River Vale Police pink supporter cap. Caps are available at the River Vale Police Department and also at Town Hall. Caps are available for $25 apiece in sizes Small/Medium and Large/X-large. All proceeds will go towards the fight against cancer.
