Deputies respond to a shooting, one victim pronounced deceased - Homicide Investigation ongoing

INCIDENT: Homicide Investigation
LOCATION: 10000 block of 6th Street, Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM: 46 year old male, name withheld pending identification and notification of next of kin
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at approximately 10:41 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the 10000 block of 6th Street in Rancho Cucamonga following the report of shots heard. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Deputies were informed that the victim along with several members of a local motorcycle club were at the location attending a memorial service for a fellow member when the shooting occurred.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to the location and are currently conducting the investigation. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available for release at this time.
