On Sept. 23, 2015, MCP participated in the annual the Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Police Plunge Photo Shoot at Sandy Point State Park. The event officially kicks-off the Torch Run’s annual fund raising drive to benefit Special Olympics - Maryland. MCP participates yearly in the event which helps raise money and awareness for Special Olympics. MCP will also be participating the 2016 Polar Bear Plunge also held at the Sandy Point State Park on January 30th, 2016.
