Road Closure County Route 5/2 Upper Laurel Dale Bridge, 1/2 mile west of Rt. 93 starting Oct. 1, 2015 
WVDOH announces that the Upper Laurel Dale Bridge (Mineral County Route 5/2) will be closed to through traffic beginning as early as October 1, 2015. The closure, located approximately 1/2 mile west of Rt. 93, will be in place 24 hours a day. This is necessary for the WVDOH to construct a new bridge superstructure over New Creek. Motorist are advise to use WV 93 to detour around the project. Construction is expected to be completed in approximately six weeks.
