FIRST RESPONDER TRAINING EXERCISE
On Tuesday September 29, 2015 there will be an exercise in cooperation between Bonner County
Emergency Management and BNSF Railway. The exercise will take place on Pend Oreille River
between Sandpoint City Beach and the Dover area.
A partnership between the BNSF Railway and Bonner County Emergency Management in
addition to other federal, state, and local agencies will combine efforts in exercising a “mock” hazardous materials spill. There will be boats, absorbent booms and other first responder
resources on the river.
