On September 28, 2015 New Brunswick High School was placed in a Lockdown as a result of possible gun shots in a rear area adjacent to the school. New Brunswick Police arrived in the area to conduct an investigation and determined there was no threat to the school. At that time, the Lockdown was modified to a shelter in place and classes were allowed to continue in the school. At 9:25 am the New Brunswick Police gave the clearance to lift the shelter in place and resume all normal activities on school property.
