Ramon Road remains closed between Sunrise Way and Farrell Drive due to downed power poles.
te: Non-Injury Collision Leads to Power Outage On Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 3:34 pm, PSPD responded to the report of a single vehicle collision in the area of Ramon Road and Cerritos Drive. There were no injuries in the collision and based on our preliminary investigation drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor. The driver, and lone occupant of a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, reported that his vehicle had a mechanical issue which caused him to lose control of his vehicle. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The collision caused damage to at least four utility poles which has affected electrical service to residents in the area. The damage has led to the closure of Ramon Road between Farrell Road and Sunrise Way. An update will be provided when the road is reopened. Utility crews have been working to repair the damaged utility poles to restore utilities. The following signal controlled intersections were affected by the power outage and city personnel are in the process of posting stop signs for traffic control: Ramon Road and Compadre Road Ramon Road and Farrell Road Farrell Road and Baristo Road Farrell Road and E Tahquitz Canyon Way E Tahquitz Canyon Way and El Cielo Road
