El Segundo Area Beach Closure Update 
A conference call with LA City Sanitation, Beaches and Harbors, and Public Health, Environmental Health was held this afternoon. Reports were provided by LA City Sanitation and confirmed by Beaches and Harbor, and Public Health, Environmental Health.
The beach area from Grand Ave. South to 45th St (El Segundo Beach) was determined by the team to be clean and was re-opened. The area from Grand Ave. North to Ballona Creek (Dockweiler Beach) will remain closed.
Crews directed by LA City Sanitation will continue to monitor and clean the entire area tonight and tomorrow. Beaches and Harbors will conduct their routine cleaning in the morning on 9/26/15 and will also assist in monitoring. Public Health, Environmental Health representatives will be available on site and will also participate in monitoring on 9/26/2015 as they were today.
