A 38 year old Loma Linda resident was arrested for DUI after fleeing from a traffic collision

SUSPECT(S): Vatcharopass, Athakorn 38, resident of Loma Linda
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: Deputies received a call regarding a traffic accident at Mountain View and Barton Road in Loma Linda. While deputies were on their way to the area, one of the suspects involved in the traffic accident attempted to flee. During the attempt to get away, the suspect collided into another parked vehicle. A witness at the location of the accident was able to update dispatch with the ongoing incident, and provided the suspects license plate number.
Deputies obtained the suspects address and made contact with him at his residence, and also located the vehicle. The suspect was arrested, and booked at the Central Detention Center for driving under the influence of alcohol. Anyone with information related to this crime is urged to contact Deputy Rusk.
