On October 5, the Jackson Police Department will host their 1st Inaugural Brockmeyer Scramble at the Jackson National Golfcourse. 
On October 5, the Jackson Police Department will host their 1st Inaugural Brockmeyer Scramble at the Jackson National Golf course.
Participation in the Brockmeyer Scramble golf tournament helps the Jackson Police Department raise money for the Community Fund.
The Community Fund is used to give back to the community and to strengthen the Police Department's relationship with the community.
The tournament is named after Officer Michael Brockmeyer, who died on October 7, 2011, of a rare form of leukemia.
The day will start with lunch and then there will be a great day of playing golf while honoring one of the Jackson Police Department's officers and raising money for the community.
