#010 Theft

AT 10:50 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the Arco gas in the Brookvale shopping center and pretended to be purchasing a soda.  When the clerk opened the register drawer, the suspect reached over and grabbed all of the cash in the drawer, then ran out of the store.  The suspect was described as a Black male adult, 30-35 years, 6’00”, wearing a black hat and all black clothing.

#020 Trespassing

Officer Scherer was dispatched to a report of a male trespassing in the area of 38500 Canyon Heights Drive.  The male had been told to leave earlier by police.  Officers located the male at a park and witnessed him drop something on the ground and then throw it over a fence.  The item was a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine.  The 44 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was arrested for trespassing/disrupting on school property and for possession of unlawful paraphernalia. 

#019 Auto Burglary

At 3:58 p.m., an auto burglary was reported on the 43400 block Christy Street at Pacific Commons.  The owner of the vehicle told officers that a window was smashed and that a backpack containing school books and supplies was taken.  A witnesses described the suspects as two Black male adults driving a small gold or light brown sedan.

#023 Auto Burglary

At 5:01 p.m., officers responded to take a report of an auto burglary on the 43600 block of Pacific Commons Blvd. A witness called dispatch and said that a male grabbed a backpack out of a vehicle and set off the alarm.  The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model Chevy van and it was last seen driving towards Automall Pkwy.  The suspect was described as a Black male adult, 30’s, short hair, 5’8”, 180 lbs. and was wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts.

#031 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

At 9:14 p.m., Officer Latimer and FTO Macciola conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist for a vehicle code violation in the area of Mowry Ave and State Street.  The bicyclist was identified as a 57 year old adult male, Fremont resident and he was on probation.  Per the terms of his probation, he was searched and three suspected methamphetamine pipes were located in addition to an ATM card that did not belong to him.  He was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and for misappropriation of lost property.

#034 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

At 10:26 p.m., Officer Hernandez conducted a traffic stop in the area of Eggers Drive and Fremont Blvd.  During the stop, he arrested the driver, a 45 year old adult male, Fremont resident, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

#039 DUI Arrest

At approximately 11:00 p.m., Sgt. Morrison on-viewed a collision in the area of Stevenson Blvd. and Sundale drive.  A vehicle drove off the roadway and hit a traffic control box, then attempted to flee.  Sgt. Morrison stopped the vehicle and the 23 year old adult male driver was arrested for drunk driving.

#001 Non-injury Collision

At 11:23 p.m., Officer Chan was detailed to a non-injury vehicle collision in the area of Boscell Rd and Auto Mall Pkwy where a fire hydrant was struck and sheared.  Fire responded to assist with the clean-up and to fix the hydrant.
