Connersville Woman Arrested For Possession of Cocaine

Connersville – Yesterday afternoon a Connersville woman was arrested after a trooper recognized her, as she walked down a street, as a person wanted on a warrant. Trooper Bryan Rumple was in Connersville around 7th St. and Western Ave. when he spotted Courtney Rosenberger walking down the street. Sergeant Brian Metcalfe was nearby and was able to find and arrest Rosenberger in the area of 5th St. and Prospect St.

Further investigation revealed that Rosenberger was in possession of over 2 grams of Cocaine. Rosenberger, age 24 of Connersville, was charged with Conspiracy to Deal Cocaine, Level 5 Felony; a warrant for Probation Violation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Level 6 Felony; False Identity, Class “A” Misdemeanor and Welfare Fraud, Class “A” Misdemeanor. 

Rosenberger was lodged in the Fayette County Jail. Anyone with information about illegal drug use is encouraged to call the Pendleton Post at 1-800-527-4752, or the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Tips can be made and kept anonymous.
