9/24/15, press release: Sale of Cocaine

On 09/24/2015 at approximately 6:00 AM the Burlington Police Department executed three State of Vermont Search Warrants as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Investigators searched two apartments located at 235 North Willard St. and one apartment located at 72 Murray St. subsequently seizing evidence related to the distribution of narcotics. Investigators arrested Conrad Duncan 36 YOA of Burlington, Vermont pursuant to an outstanding arrest warrant in addition to one count of Sale of Heroin. Investigators also arrested Victor Allen 43 YOA of Burlington, Vermont who is being charged with multiple counts of Sale of Cocaine. Investigators located Allen at the train station in Essex Junction as Allen was attempting to flee the jurisdiction.

The warrants executed and arrests made today are part of an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are anticipated. A person knowingly and unlawfully selling cocaine shall be imprisoned not more than five years or fined not more than $100,000.00, or both. A person knowingly and unlawfully selling heroin shall be imprisoned not more than five years or fined not more than $100,000.00, or both.

The Burlington Police were assisted by the Vermont State Police, The Burlington Resident Office of the DEA, and the United States Marshal's Service.
