Late Monday evening Pomona Police Officers were sent to a call involving a male adult who was found severely injured in an alley way, off of the 1500 block of Indian Hill Blvd. The victim, Joshua Aaron Pyle was flown to a local hospital however, later succumbed to his injuries.
As Police began the investigation they were summoned to a nearby residence. A male adult subject was contacted at this residence and he claimed to have been driving a vehicle with the victim, prior to the victim being fatally injured.
Preliminary evidence has now led Investigators to believe the victim may have been struck by the subjects vehicle, causing his death. It is unknown at this point in the investigation if any criminal acts occurred leading to victim Pyle's death.
The vehicle involved in the incident has been recovered by investigators. The subject questioned by police, who was driving the green Saturn is currently in custody on an unrelated charge.
