On 9-17-15, at about 9:15 PM, uniformed officers stopped a vehicle at 24th and Dumas Drive for traffic offenses. The driver, Clinton Beau Bierman WM 31 of Amarillo was arrested for the offense. A passenger in the vehicle, Richard Finley Holmes WM 39 was also arrested when drug paraphernalia was located next to him in the car. Holmes also had outstanding municipal court warrants.
During inventory of the vehicle, officers found a black bag containing 2 ½ pounds of methamphetamine along with ½ pound of marijuana. Street value on the drugs seized is $45,000.00
Both Bierman and Holmes were booked into the Potter Co Detention Center for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, over 400 grams and the traffic and drug paraphernalia charges.
