Fuel Theft Investigation
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a subject and vehicle possibly involved in the theft of fuel.
During the last several months the Sheriff’s Office has investigated several reports of fuel being stolen in areas south of Bakersfield. Detectives are requesting assistance from anyone who has seen the vehicle depicted in the attached photos or who may be able to identify the subject in the photos.
The vehicle is a white, 1989 Ford F-250 pickup CA license 3U11997. The vehicle has a custom plywood box attached to the bed.
