A woman who left Cedarbrook Residential in Nebo earlier this week has not been seen since, and authorities need help finding her.
Employees at the care home on Pinnacle Church Road reported 35-year-old Rebecca Ann Upton missing Monday evening. A worker said she saw Upton get into a white Ford dually pickup truck at 4:30 p.m. that day. As of Friday morning, no one at Cedarbrook had seen or heard from Upton.
She is from Mount Airy but frequents Catawba, Caldwell and Burke counties.
Upton is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has long, straight blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and flip flops.
Anyone with information concerning Upton’s whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235 or the McDowell County 911 communications center at 652-4000.
