CASS COUNTY HUNTERS

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team wants to make sure all hunters heading afield for the Liberty Hunt are aware of the possibility of coming across the bi-products of meth labs.

CCDET is asking any outdoorsman that might encounter meth lab waste to contact the Sheriff's Office. If you come across any trash that might be the remnants of a meth lab do not touch it, these chemicals are hazardous and the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team can safely dispose of these hazardous chemicals.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team wants to make all hunters aware of what type of trash you might find in these meth lab dump sites. The components typically found in meth lab dump sites are drain cleaner, cut battery casings, Coleman fuel cans, coffee filters, instant cold packs, fertilizer stakes, pop bottles with plastic tubing protruding from the lid, aluminum foil, funnels and pop bottles with an off colored sledge in the bottom. If you find any trash that might possibly be from a Meth Lab please contact the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team.

Anyone who finds a meth lab dumpsite please contact the Cass County Sheriff's office at 269-445-2481 or anyone with information on any other criminal activity is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 1-800-462-9328 or contact the Sheriff's Office through the Anonymous Tip Line at www.ccso.info
