The Lake County Sheriff’s Central Dispatch Center has been taking an enormous amount of calls from the media outlets asking questions, especially after hours. This is causing the dispatcher’s to take extra time to answer questions while they are dealing with real emergencies. These questions need to be directed to the Public Information Officer, who can be reached at (707) 272-6006. If any of the media outlets have questions regarding the Valley Fire, they are not to call Central Dispatch at anytime. The Sheriff’s Public Information Officer can be reached at the aforementioned number between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office thanks you for your cooperation.
