Teton County Emergency Management, Teton County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and several other emergency service partners are working with K-Mart on the weekend of 9/26 and 9/27 for K-Mart's National Safety Weekend event.  CERT members will be teaching those 13 and older how to properly use fire extinguishers with hands-on lessons and about earthquake preparedness.  There will also be prizes and materials to help get everyone better prepared for emergencies.

We'll also be encouraging folks to register for the world's largest earthquake drill on October 15, 2015 at 10:15am.  It is called the Great Wyoming ShakeOut, and you can register yourself, your family, and your organization at http://shakeout.org/wyoming/.  Visit the website to learn more.
