On September 13, 2015, at 2:00 PM, deputies were dispatched along with medical aid to a 5 month old male infant not breathing at a residence in the 300 block of Warren Ave. Medical aid arrived and began performing CPR. The infant was transported to Memorial Hospital by Hall Ambulance where he was pronounced deceased.
Kern County Sheriff's Office detectives were called to investigate, as they do with all child deaths. There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy later this week.
