Heartland Fire & Rescue units are on the scene of an apartment fire in the 1000 block of N. Mollison Avenue in El Cajon. Heartland crews are being assisted by Cal Fire and Santee Fire. The fire has been extinguished and the cause is under investigation. Crews will be on scene for approximately 2 hours.
