On Saturday, September 12th, 2015, The Village of Monroe will be hosting a Monroe Community Day on Lake Street from 10 AM-5 PM. Monroe Community Day will feature music, food, and fun for all.
Sergeant Amatetti and Detective Tenaglia from the Monroe Police Department will be on hand providing information on some of the many programs that we offer to Village of Monroe residents (programs such as EMT Program, RUOK, Child Safety Seat Installation Program, No Person Left Behind Program, Disabilities Awareness Program, Premise Check Program, Bicycle Safety Program, Facebook, Nixle, etc.). We will also have a police car on hand containing a sample of our equipment that we use during our day to day operations.
K-9 Officer Gayler, along with his partner Simba, will be conducting a K-9 demonstration as well.
Detective Tenaglia will be collecting any unused medications.
