McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a Jet Ski stolen from a Nebo residence earlier this month.
A cash reward is being offered for pertinent information.
Brian Honeycutt, 42, of Rutherfordton, reported on Friday, Sept. 4 that someone removed the 2000 Kawasaki Jet Ski, valued at $3,500, from property on Moose Shady Lane in Nebo between 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27 and 12:42 p.m. on Sept. 4.
The top half of the watercraft is yellow and the hull is white. It has a black seat, a black hood, purple decals and a big “1100” on it. It was sitting on a galvanized trailer with white fenders and gray wheels, which was also taken.
Anyone with information concerning the theft, suspect or whereabouts of the Jet Ski is asked to call Lt. Andy Manis of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2237 or McDowell County Crimestoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463). With Crimestoppers, your identity remains anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward.
