Canyon Country (East): Zone 8 - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the Week of 08/24/2015 to 08/30/2015
This past week in Zone 8 (East), the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
The following crimes are currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station detectives:
An assault with a deadly weapon occurred near the 28000 block of Sarabande Ln., Canyon Country. The suspect drove past the victim’s condo and yelled for the victim to come outside due to the previous incidents between the victim and the suspect. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled from the location in a vehicle.
An attempt burglary occurred near the 18400 block of Jakes Wy., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown shattered the victim’s bedroom window and bent the window frame. No entry was made into the location.
A grand theft occurred near the 28900 block of Silver Saddle Cir., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle while parked in front of the location.
A grand theft occurred near Yellowstone Lane / Sequoia Rd., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle while parked in front of the location.
A grand theft occurred near the 19000 block of Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s locked vehicle while parked at the location.
A grand theft occurred near the 18040 block of Grace Ln., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle while parked at the location. The vehicle was later located in the Santa Clarita area.
A grand theft occurred near the 27300 Red Bud Pl., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle while parked at the location.
A residential burglary occurred near the 27600 block of Dagmary Wy., Canyon Country. Suspect(s) unknown forced entered into the victim’s locked garage and stole numerous items.
A residential burglary occurred near the 17500 block of Harris Way, Canyon Country. Two suspects entered the victim’s apartment and stole numerous items.
A shoplifting occurred at a business near 19300 Golden Valley Rd., Canyon Country. A Loss prevention agent observed two suspects cut security devices from several store items and exit the location without making any attempts to pay. The suspects were detained and arrested upon the arrival of deputies.
