The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will be having a Civilian community academy for the people that live or work in the city of Carson. These academies are an excellent opportunity for the Sheriff’s Department to allow people of the community to have a better understanding of the operations of the Department. The applicants will be subject to a background check.
When: September 23, 2015 – November 10, 2015 Every Wednesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm between the indicated dates. Graduation held on Tuesday Total of 8 weeks class sessions |
The participants will interact with representatives from different agencies and presentations about: · Criminal Justice System · Traffic Control · Reserve Programs · Patrol and Detective Functions · Special Arms and Team Tactics · K-9 Units And many more…

Applications may be picked up at the Carson Sheriff’s Station located in the Community Relations office. All applications must be returned by Thursday, September 17, 2015. Space is limited! |
