Canyon Country West: Zone 7- Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the Week of 08/24/2015 to 08/31/2015

This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes are currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives: 

A grand theft auto occurred near the 27500 block of Eveningshade  Avenue. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s vehicle which was parked near the listed location. 

A grand theft occurred near the 26500 block of Fairgate Avenue. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s laptop and a pair of boots from a trash bag which was left on the side of their garage. 

A petty theft occurred near the intersection of Langside Avenue and Soledad Canyon Road. Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole numerous items from within. 

A petty theft occurred near the 26900 block of Rainbow Glen Drive. Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s tailgate from his truck. 

A shoplifting occurred near the 18500 block of Soledad Canyon Road. One suspect was arrested for petty theft after they were caught taking store items and making no attempt to pay for the items.
