Two New Detectives 
On August 18th, 2015 interviews were conducted with 12 very qualified applicants for the lateral position of Detective. Officer Scott Clark and Officer Kevin Miller have been assigned to the Detective Division effective August 31, 2015.
Detective Scott Clark will soon have 6 years of service with the department as is also a member of our SWAT unit.
Detective Kevin Miller is a 7 year officer with the police department. Prior to joining LPD he worked for 8 years with Tippecanoe County Community Corrections. Det. Miller is a graduate of Purdue University with a BA in Law and Society.
They are two hard working, highly motivated and outstanding officers. They will serve the community and the department at a high level in these new and challenging positions.
