On Saturday September 26, 2015 from 10am to 2pm, the Sachse Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse, theft and accidents by ridding their homes or potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription and over the counter medications.  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.  The only items that cannot be disposed of are needles, syringes and pressurized inhalers.  Bring the items to the collection location at Sachse City Hall located at 3815-B Sachse Road.
