SUMMARY: Loma Linda deputies observed a vehicle with a head light out drive onto the Loma Linda Academy property. Due to the late hour, deputies contacted the driver and sole occupant, Kassandra Estrada, a 21-year-old resident of San Bernardino. During the contact, the deputies found the vehicle Estrada was driving was stolen out of the San Bernardino area on August 28, 2015. Upon further inspection, Estrada was in possession of "shaved" keys commonly used by car thieves to both gain entry and start older model vehicles. Estrada did not know the registered owner of the vehicle and was not given permission to drive it. Estrada was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for grand theft automobile in lieu of $50,000 bail. The registered owner of the vehicle was able to respond to the location and recover his vehicle.
