UPDATE/CORRECT #LASD Seeking Public's Help in Locating Missing Woman from Santa Clarita Area
MISSING PERSON NAME CORRECTION: KRISTIN WHITNEY GHILARDI
Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Missing Persons Unit are seeking the public's assistance in locating the above missing person. Kristin is a resident of Los Angeles County and was last seen leaving a friend's house in the City of Canyon Country, Ca. Kristin said she was going to take "Patrick" to Simi Valley. Kristin's family has not been able to contact her and her cell phone appears to be powered off.
UPDATE: Kristin has a shaved head or very short hair and often wears a bandana or hat in different colors and miscellaneous bracelets. Her friends and family are very concerned and are also asking for the public's assistance.

NARRATIVE:
On Friday, August 28, 2015, family members went to Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station and reported Kristen Ghilardi missing. Kristen had been missing since August 26, 2015, when she was last seen at a friend’s house in Canyon Country. Kristin said she was going to take “Patrick” to Simi Valley. Kristin’s family has not been able to contact her and are very concerned. Kristin works with a homeless outreach program.
Kristin was last seen driving her charcoal grey, 2006 Toyota Corolla, four-door sedan. The vehicle has tinted rear windows.
