Sheriff's Homicide Detail investigating the death of an 83 year old male found in Rancho Cucamonga

LOCATION: Foothill Boulevard and Red Hill Country Club Drive, Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): Adult male, 83 years old, resident of Rancho Cucamonga - name withheld pending family notification
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 4:21 p.m. Rancho Cucamonga Police were called to a large field with trees and shrubs, located on the northeast corner of Foothill Boulevard and Red Hill Country Club Drive. The deputy arrived and found a Caucasian male deceased on the ground.
Due to the suspicious nature of the death, Homicide Investigators were called to conduct the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Further details about the investigation are not being released at this time. Updates will be issued as new information becomes available.
