School starts today for the Palos Verdes Unified School District. Drive carefully and expect heavy traffic around schools during the start and end of classes. There will be an extra police presence around the schools to assist with the flow of traffic.

Remember to drop children off at the curb, don't double park, watch for kids walking in/ crossing the streets, and obey the 25 mph speed limit in school zones.
