Minutes later, troopers responded with sheriff’s deputies to a family disturbance in northwestern Vigo County where one female was the victim of a stabbing and transported to an area hospital, suspect arrested. After that, troopers responded to assist the Terre Haute Police Department with an armed robbery and stolen vehicle recovery, all on North 3rd Street. The ISP K-9 handler was able to track the suspects to an area residence, where THPD detectives are following up the investigation. That same evening the ISP K-9 handler assisted troopers and other police officers with vehicle searches that resulted in several drug arrests.

Saturday evening, troopers responded to several disturbance calls in and around the city of Terre Haute and near the fairgrounds. One such disturbance call was a large crowd and fight near 4th Street and Hulman Streets with one person injured, suspect(s) still at large. Troopers also responded to a vehicle rollover crash on south 7th Street near US 41 and arrested the uninjured driver for DUI. The ISP K-9 handler again assisted troopers throughout the evening with vehicle searches that resulted in drug arrests.
