Steve G. Voegtli went missing from his home near Madera Road in the Wood Ranch area of Simi Valley at about 4 PM on Wednesday, August 12th, 2015. The circumstances of his disappearance are suspicious. Steve is an avid walker who takes to trails in the Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Agoura and Malibu areas. He has no car, phone or identification with him. He has some memory problems and may appear disoriented or unkempt. Steve is a 63 years old White male adult who is 6’ tall, weighs 180 lbs, has brown short hair with a receding hairline and hazel eyes. He is a retired LA County firefighter who will often talk of his firefighting experiences, as well as surfing and various sports. He is often referred to by friends as The Dude.
