NARRATIVE:
On August 10, 2015 Ptl Daniel Liptak conducted a field interview with a suspicious male on Norwood Ave in the area of Edgemont Drive. Through a police investigation the subject was found to be in possession of a stolen bicycle, several stolen car keys and was found to have committed a car burglary in the area.
Through a subsequent follow up investigation conducted by Detective Kobil, the accused in this case were linked to several car burglaries that occurred in the parking lot behind Allenhurst Car Care, a residential burglary on Norwood Ave in the Village of Loch Arbour and a motor vehicle theft on Euclid Ave in the Village of Loch Arbour.
All of the accused were charged with varying counts of burglary, theft, conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass.
