Scott County Man Arrested for Drugs Again

Floyd County-Yesterday morning, Sgt. Katrina Smith from the Indiana State Police, stopped a gray 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse for a traffic violation on Interstate #64 near the Georgetown Exit in Floyd County. A subsequent investigation involving the driver, Debra Groenenboom and passenger, Jessie Stacy, led to Sgt. Smith locating Methamphetamine, $3200.00 in U.S. Currency and Hypodermic Needles.

Debra Groenenboom, 43, of Scottsburg, was arrested and charged with Dealing Methamphetamine Over One Gram; Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jessie Stacy, 37, of Deputy in Scott County, was arrested and charged with Dealing Methamphetamine Over One Gram; Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of a Hypodermic Needle; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Invasion of Privacy.

Both were incarcerated at the Floyd County Jail.
