DPS seeking assistance in finding H&R driver that left pedestrian critical, accident last night on 58th.

 

 
AMARILLO – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking the public’s help to locate a hit and run driver who struck a 16-year-old female jogger Friday evening.
 
On August 29, 2015, sometime between 8:15 p.m., and 8:35 p.m., a 16-year-old female was jogging eastbound on 58th between Washington and Tradewind Street, when an unknown vehicle struck her and left the scene. The jogger, found by her father, was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo where she is in critical condition.
 
At this time, there is no description of the vehicle. Body shops, repair shops, and the public are being asked to contact DPS with any information they may have. The number to call DPS is (806) 468-1394.
