The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Services Section will be hosting an appreciation dinner for the Sheriff’s Office volunteers who participated in the Benjamin Ashley investigation and search operation between July 28th, 2015 and August 15th, 2015.
During the operation 95 Sheriff’s Office volunteers, including volunteers with Citizen Service Unit, Search and Rescue, the Reserve Deputy Unit, and the Explorer Unit, donated approximately 2,219 hours.
The appreciation dinner will be held tonight, August 28th, starting at 6:30 pm in Building F at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 1350 Norris Rd. in Bakersfield.
